This document describes the proposed encodings (concrete representations) for Decimal Arithmetic. The encodings described here may be used to support the Decimal Arithmetic Specification. The document is also available in PDF (Acrobat) and PostScript formats.

These encodings are the formats produced by the IEEE 754r committee, as currently included in an unapproved draft of the proposed IEEE-SA 754 standard. They are still subject to change; use at your own risk.
